LINE™ Embraces a ‘Creators Market’
Earlier I wrote about the explosion of stickers onto the ‘text’ messaging scene – specifically LINE App stickers – in a giant wave that surprised and exceeded the already optimistic “Who’s Who” of the Tech and Stock Markets elite in New York and Tokyo.
LINE App stickers have done something else too, something fun and potentially profitable for would-be hobbyists, artists, and professionals alike – creating a marketplace for designing and selling your own stickers. That’s right, if you are a hobby artist, dabbler in creativity, or experienced illustrator, you can submit your own designs for sale in LINE Creators Market.
And that is my latest creative tangent. I have created sticker sets of my own.
‘Still Image’ sets and animated versions are possible. I still have to figure out how to get sound into them, and there is the lates wave of “Pop-up” stickers that fill the screen of your device briefly.
Let me introduce “Jup Jup” and Jak. Jup Jup is a confident independent lady who lets her friends know exactly how she feels, assertively. Fun and flirty, she has her shy moments too. Jak is a regular guy; like you and me he is average to some and special to others. Jak rolls with everyday good times and bad times we can all relate to.
Jup Jup (pronounced with soft “ch”) is essentially a phrase for “kiss kiss” in Thai jargon, it is freely used as an affectionate expression between friends or loved ones; it can be used very early in relationships (even after a comfortable second or third meeting) and isn’t necessarily romantic, more so a symbol of sincerity and trust, although it may serve as a cue for romance as appropriate to the scenario.
See the full range of sticker sets for both, available at Aajaanron’s LINE App stickers.
